Hush Puppies
1 c cornmeal 1 egg, beaten
1/2 c flour (wheat) 1 c milk
1 1/2 tsp baking powder Oil to fry
1/2 tsp salt
Sift dry ingredients. Add rest. Stir well. Let stand 5 minutes. Drop by spoonsful in hot oil.
